Festive Christmas Trio Download

Somehow time just seems to fly by when it comes to Christmas, one minute it is the middle of the year and then it is Christmas Eve! With this in mind I thought we would get in early with some holiday ideas that can be easily done ahead of time, perfect for decorations and gifts. We have chosen a Christmas stocking (aptly named Honey’s Stocking), placemat and pillow, the techniques of which can easily be adapted to other projects that teach so many new techniques.

Festive Petite Pillow

The glistening little pillow uses a design and Jenny’s Magic Quilting in the Hoop technique taken from her latest book A Place in the Sun. These quilting/applique designs are intended for a 200mm square hoop, (which after research is the largest most common hoop on the market at present), and take maximum advantage of the hoop embroidery field.

It is amazing what difference color makes to a design, with Robbie and Jenny choosing vibrant red and green silk, along with old gold silk, all of which is quilted and embroidered using metallic threads. The results are not only eye catching but also capture the sparkle and pizazz that reflects the Christmas spirit.

Festive Placemat

Nothing says Christmas like a festive table setting that reflects the holiday season. This delightfully cheery placemat is easy to make, pretty to look at and practical all in one, perfect to decorate your holiday table setting. Change the colors and fabrics and you have stunning placemat for everyday use, celebratory occasions, even holiday resorts, the creative possibilities are endless.

Festive Christmas Stocking

Christmas stockings are an age old tradition, in fact my sister and I were reminiscing how we remembered, leaving pillow cases at the end of our bed for Santa to fill. How special we would have felt had we had our own personalized Christmas stocking with our photo on it for Santa. Robbie and I decided to do just that for my beautiful puppy Mz Honey and share this beautiful concept with everyone so they could create personalized Christmas stockings for those special little people in our lives.

Included in the download are a total of 9 embroidery designs. 2 designs to use with a 200mm x 200mm hoop and 7 designs to use with a 140mm x 200mm hoop; and the instructions for the the three projects.

Two hoop sizes included: 140mm x 200mm hoop and 200mm x 200mm hoop.
