I am nervous when using my sewing machine.

Question: I am very nervous when using a sewing machine, especially if it is ‘computerised – what if I press the wrong button?

ANSWER: How often do I hear this, especially from women who tell me they have never taken their machine out of the box, or tell me they only ever do straight stitching and the occasional buttonhole? Remember that you are the human, so you are in control of a sewing/embroidery machine, (not it of you), so do not be afraid – there is always the OFF BUTTON!
